Welcoming Autumn...

Hello and Welcome Autumn!  I love this weather and cannot wait for the weather to change...cool crisp breezes from the heatful days!  Although I am in Southern California and the weather hasn't really changed...temp is to be 100 today and tomorrow but then falling below to 88 the day after!

Still there's hope for the change...getting a break from the heat!  Yesterday we got to enjoy a family walk after dinner...we walked our little puppy Gracie for the 1st time to the park yesterday and Cici got to play on the slides and climb...so it was good!

I recently have had some productive time in my *Studio* as I like to call it...I created this custom piece for 2 very special people...my parents!  This sits lovingly on their shelf above their coffee station!  So yeah, I can do custom work...only in U.S. as the shipping out of the States is a bit much.

I am putting myself out there because I need to work...we are on a single income (my husband) and lately it's spreading thin.  So if you would like something custom or just would like to purchase my artwork it would be lovely...you can message me on my FaceBook or here or you could check out my Etsy store Gina's Whimsy HeArt Boutique!

The other thing I've been working on is 2 batches of greeting cards...creating cards has been something I have been doing for such a long time...at least 20 something years!  I just never offered them for sale because I usually create smaller batches for my personal use but these papers were so inspirational to me for the fall season!

These are nice full cards at 6 1/2" x 5" and they are $2.00 each

Well I will be back soon to post more creations...as I am ~

My Arts and Crafts Room...*ReNewed*

Hello and Happy Labor Day!!

So it's been a while since I last wrote here and I thought I'd post a little update...the main thing for me is that I recently moved all my art stuff into my Arts and Crafts room!  I am so happy with the outcome and can't wait to work on all my newest commissions...here's a little look into my room:

Now I'll be able to just close the door and not worry about leaving a mess...not that I want to but what makes this easier in having my things in a room!  I did finish organizing just last night so I wanted to post while this was all still fresh.  Now the funny thing is this is where I originally started from and then I went into the dining space to the living room and then back again to the guest room!  Funny how things just come full circle...

An Update of my Cre8v Life

"Let The Heavens Open"
Getting ready for some new things...I'm gonna start teaching some classes/workshops from my home!  I hope to get these all filled for the summer and well see how it goes from there!

I'll be creating some announcements for those soon...as soon as I get all the details worked out!  In the meantime...I've been tinkering again and I love it!  Here's a few things I'm working on:

*I also re-opened my Etsy Boutique...I decided it was the best (for now) to display my artwork!  I will be adding artwork (original), jewelry, prints, and digital art every week so be sure to stop by often!

*Here's some original art I have available in my

"A Wing Of Hope"

"I Dream Of  Painting"

Not Enough Time...

Sometimes there just isn't enough time...not when it comes to my baby girl YaYa or Angela.  Last Monday she went to heaven...and I miss her presence so much, she was a sweetheart...

It was pretty hard to do anything creative so I decided to create something in memory of her...

Love, Peace, Joyful

Here are some ATC cards featuring some of my birdies that I painted with ColourArte's Twinkling H20's!  These are my Twinkling H20's collection that I arranged by color and I love using them!

Here are the colors that I used to paint the ATC's

Here are the completed ATC's that I created using the ATC's
and then stamping some words on them.

Here is the finished book:

Where Have I Been...and other Goodness!!

Well I can't believe how much time has passed since I last blogged...let's just say that I had a close call and I've been recouperating.  What happened you say?  Well I'll tell you...around the last time I wrote here I had suffered from something that can happen to diabetics but it's not really mentioned...well I guess it is but it's mentioned with the long list of things so you kind of disassociate yourself from it...well at least I did.  It happens when your blood sugars go from being too high to too low...and you suffer from memory loss...not permanently but it sure has taken a long time for me to get most of it back.  It's been a scary and long road...

At first I didn't know what to do and I didn't go to the Doctor until about a week later...it was a mess and I didn't know just how bad it was. Long story short, it took months to get myself to a somewhat "normal".  I'm still struggling with my sugars but it's not as bad...let's just say that I need to take it serious;  losing my memory was pretty bad and I'm glad I got it back...it's a scary thought to think of it being gone forever!

Now that my memory is back I can plan things, things like painting!  Now I still was trying and I did pretty good...not my best but good...thank you ColourArte for your patience!  This next painting is my latest creation for ColourArte...I think it's pretty good!
