Help Me CELEBRATE My LAUNCH Week!!

So happy to share some fun news...This week seems to be my "LAUNCH" week...I had no intentions of this nor did I plan it...I was just doing what I love when I realized that I had 3 different activities that I had been wanting to do all seem to happen this week...so I decided to CELEBRATE that with a giveaway!

I know the Lord is definately behind the scenes as I have been doing some serious praying, lifting up and proclaiming my goals  and  dreams...I have been learning to speak differently about myself and others...and I can see the changes evolving all around me and again the Lord astounds and amazes me!

For many years I have been wanting to create or video tape my process of different projects or artworks I've created but didn't have the right set up to do so...I did try a few times and as it just didn't work for me.  So I'm so happy that finally I do and this will help me to be able to create a business to help out my family so that we can do more than just get by...especially since we have a very special dream...in fact I'm thinking of starting a blog to write about the enfolding of that dream to have a very special Ranch...but that's another story!

Following An Exciting Path...

I am really looking forward to where this current path I'm on right now is leading me...I truly believe I am being led by the Lord!  My mind feels like I have so many ideas just downloading in my brain...amazing stuff...I have felt this feeling before but this time it's not overwhelming me...it's exciting!!!  I feel self assured that no matter what the outcome is...it's better than where I've been stuck for years!  I feel that I've had many breakthrough's in so many areas of my life...in my spiritual closeness to the Lord, in my marriage, as a mommy, as a daughter, and even in gaining new friendships as they are beginning to develop...I know the Lord has knocked down some walls...my heart is open...again!!

For years, for some reason...it is never planned for it to happen...but somewhere along the line, as I got disappointed by friendships that fizzled, love ones who have surprised me with disappointment, and even disappointing myself...I built a wall out of all that disappointment.  When I looked back I discovered that none of that disappointment in others or myself did me any good...no...just kept me stuck in some sort of rut.

Now I'm not saying everything is perfect...no one's life ever is...it's just that I feel content with where I am at because I know that even though there are some dramatic things happening here and there...I know that the Lord is with me...and I can and will get through it!  Well with all that said, I'd like to share some things that I'm excited about:

I am sooo excited about being led to His-Kingdom-Come.com > it's a Christian Faith based community of Artist of all kinds who love the Lord and express that love in their art!  I feel like I finally belong somewhere...can't even begin to put how that feel into words!!  I am so happy too because I am going to be (and this part I am still in a bit of shock) an online Art Teacher...well, sort of...I am going to be doing online Art Workshop/Tutorials!  In fact I just finished one up this week ~ Here's the Ad I created for it:

I have also been working alot on my FaithTangles and may even do a workshop for it...I'm just waiting to hear back.  I already began to film (just yesterday in fact) my very 1st FaithTangle Friday Process Video where I create from the beginning to the end (colored) and just got these uploaded to my YouTube and FB...and will now post them here:

I've been wanting to film tutorials and project process videos and more for a long time but didn't have the right camera or set up...I'm also a little limited with my laptop...as we are needing a new computer among other things...so anyways, my husband got me a cool Flip Video Recorder for Christmas and my dad lent me his tripod and so now I'm just going to town with it!!  Well I think this is the longest post in a long time so I better go now!  May you have a blessed weekend...Cre8tvlyYrs, Gina :)

*Take Me Deeper from His Kingdom Come and more!

Well, I am a bit busy these days...sooo much is going on all at once of course...but there are more good than bad and I know my Lord is guiding and directing each step I take so it's all good!  So I'd like to start this post to share with you about this awesome FaithArt Journal /Bible Study that His Kingdom Come.com is doing for the whole year...all free...it's called "Take Me Deeper"  If you'd ever wanted to do a bible study and work on an art journal (FaithArt) then come on over and join in!  Here's what I've worked on so far:

Heavenly Peace & FaithTangles

Just wanted to share an update of what I've been up to lately...

so first is this mixed-media painting I created in 2013 and have loved it too much to sell or offer for sale...but the Lord put it in my heart to offer it for a worthy cause...a charity event for the "Sisters Rangel" Benefit that took place this last Saturday for my mom's dear friend who is recieving a gift of a Kidney Transplant from her own sister...such a beautiful gift...I am so honored to have been a part of this!

Also, here's something that I have been doing for years...I have always loved to doodle...had no idea they were called Tangles and others call them Zen Tangles for meditation...but for me, I call these FaithTangles because these are what I like to draw or doodle when I am Praising my Lord...I'm planning on doing a video each Friday (FaithTangle Fridays) on my YouTube channel but for now, here's a little slideshow preview of some of them...thanks for looking and enjoy!  Cre8tvlyYrs, Gina  ;)

It's going to be a *Brilliant* New Year!!

Hello and Happy New Year everyone!  It's the beginning of a brand new journey...I look at each year as a new journey that's about to unfold...where will life take me this year?  Where will my Lord lead me?  Will I follow the paths to be as brilliant as I am meant to be?

I also like to find a word to be an inspiration througout the year for me...the word also has to be a word that I feel the Lord is giving to me...not just a random word chosen from a list...and for me that word is *Brilliant*!!  I feel it is my year...I really do, the Lord has been preparing me for something pretty special...he has let me know in my prayers and other inspiring moments shared in praising him...I feel he wants me to be Brilliant...this was especially confirmed to me when I came upon this quote:  Don't Shine so others can see you.  Shine so that through you, others can see HIM!!

I'm also so happy to share that I have found this awesome community of Faith based artists called His Kingdom Come and we will be doing an awesome Art Journal/Scripture based reflections each week called Take me Deeper that I will be posting as I do them along with a video tutorial.  Your welcome to join us!

There are a lot of big things coming my way in both my near and distant future and already an awesome opportunity has come my way that I can't share yet but I can share this:  I will be doing workshops and tutorials in my YouTube Channel so come check by often to see them!
